Regenwasserbehandlung

There are clear specifications governing the construction of sprinkler and fire water systems. SBB satisfies both the national and international regulations and also the regulations of the VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH Köln, CEA 4001 and the NFPA, FM, LPC or IRI guidelines. For reliable fire protection in commercial and municipal buildings.

Water supply without risk

The extinguishing agent is water that is distributed in a target manner over the source of the fire by means of sprinklers. Sometimes the local water supply is insufficient to cover a minimum operating time of 30, 40, 60 or 90 minutes. After this, additional water reservoirs are required, so-called sprinkler water reservoirs.

These reservoirs can be integrated into a sprinkler system as full or partial supplies, i.e. either with or without backsupply from the water supply. Between 50 and 2500 cubic meters of useful volume are normal, distributed over a max. of three tanks.

The underground reserve.

If the local fire water supply is insufficient, additional reservoirs are required. Underground fire water reservoirs are artificially created, covered water reservoirs that allow fire water to be removed via a suction shaft with 1 to 3 integrated suction pipes.

The SBB fire water tanks are planned and realised in compliance with DIN 14230.

Sprinkler systems: Water with efficiency.

Solid insulation is required for an even room climate and compact dimensions for optimised use and efficiency when constructing the sprinkler systems. The installation of the pipelines, arrangement of the pump aggregates, the ventilation and aeration make this kind of project complex.
