Post sedimentation tanks are usually constructed with a central funnel and a base plate that is tilted toward the centre of the tank. The challenges: To ensure that the scraper can collect the residual sludge, the base plate needs to be free of uneven areas or roughness. Also, the scraper must work with a minimum clearance to the edge. An exactly round geometry is therefore required. In addition, the wall crowns are also subject to extremely heavy loads.

Therefore the SBB construction technology and concrete processing are of the very highest order. Resistant to the effect of frost, de-icing salt and scraper wheels.

Controlled quality for Waste water
treatment plants.

The quality of the concrete is what counts in the activation tank. Highly specialised SBB concrete technicians and continuous checks by the TÜV and our E testing office supervised by the LGA Bayern guarantee long-term investment security.
